Character Traits:
Can pilot well and is accustomed to dealing with many different species. She is able to speak many languages.
Racial Information:
Her native planet is very hot and arid. The soil there is colored with various blue pigments. This is the reason her skin and hair are blue. Because of their hot, dry environment, they have adapted to store water in their bodies and hair. The Konde live for approximately one hundred Teloric years.
Other Information:
Her constant companion is a razorbeak named Mahdesto. Razorbeaks's are native to her planet.

Skills/Abilities:
He has the ability to endure incredible amounts of physical stress and pain. Has two organs called 'reperation' glands. They keep him from dying from wounds and injuries when most organic beings would.
Character Traits:
He has an attitude of “fire first, ask questions later.” One of his favorite sentiments is that all will be sorted out in the afterlife: now is not the time.
Racial Information:
The Elkan are a race of warriors. They are accustomed to lives of physical pain and have adapted well to endure torture and abuse. The Elkan live for about 80 years. They are feared by many races for their natural combat skills. In ground combat they are feared or respected by all.
Other Information:
Hul is very protective of his friend Ni. He thinks of himself as Ni's 'bigbrother'.

Character Traits:
He is deeply connected with nature; its flow, its patterns, its randomness, its perfection. He keeps several plants, which he tends and cares for as if they were extensions of his own being.
Racial Information:
The Tyre are a race of intelligent beings. They spend time each day in reflection and meditation, usually while sitting among plants, which they find especially serene. Much of what they do centers on their care and concern of nature, whether it be on their homeworld or a distant planet. Though they seek peace and peaceful settlements of all conflicts, they are not pacifists for they believe that if they stand aside and do nothing nature and all that they love will be utterly destroyed. They have developed a special tool (some call it a weapon, though they do not like the word or what it implies) that is designed to render enemies unconscious. It is the only such implement that they use. The Tyre live for approximately 400 Teloric years.
Other Information:
Lark is a very skilled matrial artist and always tries to spare a life when he can. He knows little of spacial warfare.

Character Traits:
Mydrial is aggressive and haughty.
Racial Information:
All of the Inatu are telepathic. They possess a terrible intelligence, the likes of which no other species possesses. Their planet is entirely covered with an ammonia-based sea in which they live; they have no lungs and thus cannot breathe air. The Inatu long ago built elaborate buildings where they meet to reproduce. Besides this rare occasion, they stay apart from others of their race, preferring to roam the great sea in solitude. In truth, they do not enjoy being in close proximity to one another, most likely due to the vast intelligence that each possesses. Most Inatu do not build personal homes. They have never traveled in space, and only recently have the Der’ingians taken an interest in using them. The Der’ingians have yet to discover how dangerous the Inatu can be. The Inatu live an average of 650 Teloric years.
Other Information:
Inatu have the ability to hide inside their shell when in danger, hurt, or sleeping. They look almost like a rock when in this stage.

Skills/Abilities:
Ni is highly adept at understanding mechanics and technology. He is dexterous and able to construct and operate on intricate machinery, parts, wiring, etc. His dexterity and extreme attention to detail make him an excellent pilot.
Werrhyl are immune to most poison's and disease of the universe. They also can hold their breath for long periods of time, however they cannot breathe water or other liquids.
Character Traits:
Ni is very reliable. He has constructed a large suit that he wears to undertake big tasks. He fondly calls it his Equalizer. He is ambitious in designing and creating his projects.
Racial Information:
All of the Werrhyl are intelligent and technically inclined. They build large ships and machines for defense and to compensate for their small size. The Werrhyl have venom stingers in their tails, which they use to defend themselves. This also makes them immune to the Hool virus. Some Werrhyl are used as scientific slaves by those races seeking to harness their technological knowledge. They live approximately 150 Teloric years.

Poet, as he is called, has learned almost every language spoken in the trade sectors. He has familiarized himself with the races that reside and/or trade there, their culture, customs, and traditions.
Character Traits:
He is deeply sensitive about sentient robots being used for labor and servitude.
Racial Information:
Designed by August Kordel to be a servant of affluent people (like himself), Poet was traded to Simon and Hul four years ago as payment when August did not uphold his end of their bargain. Given a freedom in the company of Simon and Hul that most robots never know, Poet has enjoyed the luxury of becoming his own person. He is highly intelligent, capable of learning and remembering vast amounts of information. He easily slipped into the position of Hul and Simon’s ambassador and negotiator. They often wonder what they ever did without him.

Simon is an excellent pilot, which is his chief function on the ship. He has almost perfect hand-eye coordination, which also makes him a deadly marksman with his pistol. He is adept at making repairs on his ship.
Character Traits:
Simon is a pure human, a Pagan. His parents are faithful Avatars and strongly disapprove of the path Simon has taken. For his part, Simon remains disgusted with his parents and all Avatars.
Racial Information:
A few hundred years ago, humans destroyed Earth, their home planet. Now, as a whole, humans are considered foolhardy and ignorant. They are often berated and treated as such by other races. For the most part, humans are now officially divided into two distinct groups: Avatars and Pagans, those who oppose them. Avatars are pure humans; that is, they have not been tainted by genetically mixing with other races. Avatars uphold that they are the true form of the human species, the ultimate creation of their god. Avatars are zealous to say the least about upholding their beliefs. They aggressively persecute any and all peoples they come across who are of mixed human blood. They believe these people are heretics who have forsaken god and true humanity. Avatars are religious zealots, pompous, arrogant, and egotistical to the highest degree. Avatars especially hate the pure humans who have turned from their beliefs. They call these individuals Pagans. Avatars have also begun to spread their persecution to all races and persons that they consider to be impure, whether they have human blood somewhere in their bloodline or not. These the Avatars call the Fallen. After many years of bloody fighting, the Pagans and the Fallen have turned to the path of least resistance: they have sought out sanctuary beyond the reaches of the Avatars. Now, they seek mainly to avoid contact with the Avatars, just as the Avatars seek to avoid contact with alien species (while simultaneously struggling to persecute them). Coupled with internal conflict in Avatar society (spurred by secret agents of some Pagan revolutionaries), this has essentially granted the Pagans and the Fallen the peace they have desired for so long. They carry out their lives away from all Avatar realms, while the Avatars strive desperately to maintain order within their borders.

She can reverse her blood flow and can control her bone structure. She can hold her breath for long periods of time. She learns quickly and has enhanced senses.
Vora also has the ability to control her body temperature, lowering it to avoid scanners or raising it to match other's to fool scanners. This ability helps her most in difficult climates.
Character Traits:
Due to her sheltered upbringing, she is very naïve. She has difficulty expressing her thoughts and feelings in words. Thus, with Poet’s encouragement, she has discovered expression through painting.
Racial Information:
She was created in the likeness of the Rothaurians by a male Rothaurian who had designed her to be his mate. He named her "Vorasinleah," the Rothaurian word for perfected. The Rothaurians are a diverse group of people, having many varying interests and skills. Vora, as she is called by Simon and company, was engineered with many abilities that her creator felt would benefit her on the oft hostile planet of Rothaur.

Character Traits:
Pike is a warrior. He knows combat, he knows how people think, and has never been caught by surprise. Entire galaxies have been 'perged' by his fleet. He is a respected officer in the Der'ingian Empire. Much of the Der'ingian territories are theirs because of his skills on the deck or a cruiser.

Little is known about Der'ingians. They simply seem to be excellent at combat and warfare. However the only information on them has been gathered by the military through encounters.

It is known they have more respect for warriors than cowards, and often torture warriors for shorter amounts of time as a sign of this respect.

Only second in command of the fleet and second advisor to Pike himself, she is also skilled and has proven herself on the battlefield many times before. She doesn't care for torture as much as her comrades and often grants swift deaths to her opponents in shockingly devastating strokes. Her squads hit fast, hard, and move on to the next target.

Little is known about Der'ingians. They simply seem to be excellent at combat and warfare. However the only information on them has been gathered by the military through encounters.

It is known they have more respect for warriors than cowards, and often torture warriors for shorter amounts of time as a sign of this respect.

It is rumoured that she and Bourne have a relationship outside of their jobs.

Commodore Bourne

Character Traits:
Only second in command of the fleet and first advisor to Pike himself. Bansher is a fierce warrior who enjoys ‘the hunt.’ He loves torture, deriving pleasure from it, and often lets his opponents flee and hunts them down himself. He is the only officer of his rank that goes on missions. This is against protocol, but there are few that would risk bringing it up in his presence. He is a valuable tool to the Empire.
